The Oakham Piano Trio (violinist Annebeth Webb, cellist Richard Jenkinson and pianist Anne Bolt) return to our professional concert series with an evening of romantic masterworks. Schubert’s youthfully exuberant "Sonatensatz" one-movement trio (composed when the composer was just 15 years old) is placed alongside Brahms’ final piano trio and Fauré’s op. 120, written in his final year of life. This unmissable concert promises to have it all, from the innocence of youth to the experience and wisdom of a lifetime, delivered with the mixture of virtuosity and musicality for which the Oakham Piano Trio is widely praised.
