MADDIE MORRIS
Maddie Morris is an artist who strives to make a difference in the world. Bold, insightful and refreshingly unique, they take traditional song in new directions to shine a light on contemporary issues.
Folk songs have always told stories, but how Maddie makes their mark is by turning this storytelling into action. Described by Jim Moray as “leading the next generation of socially conscious songwriters”, they use their work to highlight inequality, challenge viewpoints and provide an inclusive space for shared experiences.

CHUCK SJ
Chuck SJ is a multidisciplinary artist, with a focus on music and words as a tool to explore and express around social political issues, specifically on the trans revolution.

This Punk Powerhouse is well known for their intoxicating stage performance, unique guitar skills and unapologetic honesty.

Chuck has completed 5 European tours, 12 UK tours, 15 albums and 2 EPs. In 2020, they had words published in the Creating In Crisis anthology by Polari Press. In 2021, they received Arts Council funding to self produce a 17-track album titled Resist Recharge Revolt written in a cabin in the woods during the pandemic. The album is currently be performed live with their full band The Rose Quartz Rebellion.

The album was released under KNM records in December 2022. Chuck is a resident artist at for the infamous Bar Wotever. In May 2023 Chuck worked with Elevate East at Rich Mix Theatre as part of the 'Stuck In The Lift' residency, through this they began writing their new musical 'Eat Your Heart Out'.

In summer 2023 Chuck launched BYENARY events, a music events production that centres Trans and/or non-binary musicians
