Event information
The woodland of folklore is a mysterious and dangerous place where things are lost, things are found and the miraculous can happen. In these extraordinary tales, a young lord loses his way and meets with a transformation; a woman draws on secret resources to escape persecution; a lonely girl thinks she has found a friend, to the horror of her neighbours. In the woods, the apparently innocent can be anything but; these tales contrast the hidden with what we think we know and warn of what can happen to the unwary.
