A sizzling Southern Italian party at Jamboree with the brilliant Amaraterra, the first Pizzica ensemble in London, performing traditional music from the heel of Italy!

A ‘Pizzica’ is the malicious bite of the tarantula spider. In order to heal from the poison you must dance till you drop, following the intense, restless beat of the tambourine. It is one of the oldest musical expressions of the Mediterranean, brought to London by a group of passionate musicians. Expect a flourish of instruments, colour and movement.
