Yes Chris will be performing a hometown town headline show Hanks Cambridge on Friday Feb 7th.

We have a jam packed night of Alternative and Indie Rock from 4 bands, doors at 7pm, first band at 7:30pm, tickets are only £3.50 (wait what?) With all proceeds going to Music Venue Trust.

Expect a solid mix of punchy guitars, driving rythms and melodies with flavours of Grunge, Shoegaze, Post Rock, American Lo-fi, Indie Pop and Folk.

YES CHRIS:

Yes Chris bring a powerful and infectious, guitar led blend of driving rhythms and melody. Having been described as "Electrifying guitar-driven energy and melodic grandeur" and "transfixing, eruptive and bold", their impactful sound and live shows are not to be missed.

They've been called Shoegaze, Alt Rock, Post Rock and even Grunge. Maybe they are all of these and more, maybe they are none. Why don't you decide?

YOKE:

Beautiful songs about hope and despair, and other things. For fans of Yamaha music equipment, electricity, colour coordination and sectional buildings. Yo La Tengo, Wire, The Feelies, The Bongos, Judas Priest and Living on a Prayer.

PARLIAMENT OF WOLVES:

Parliament of Wolves is a Cambridge-based band who released their first EP 'Dreamers' in July 2024.

They headlined a show at The Troubadour in London and played at Cambridge Rock Festival in 2024, in addition to many gigs at notable local venues. Their songs have been played on BBC Introducing Cambridgeshire + Essex and Cambridge 105. The band has been nominated for a New Music Generator Award in the Best Indie Act category.

FALLING AND LAUGHING:

With nearly 20 years of history Falling and Laughing are indie stalwarts in their hometown of Birmingham. Expect an immersive blend of adventurous indie-pop tinged with powerful post-rock instrumentation.
