Dom Howard is a guitarist, Composer and producer from East Anglia, living in London.
Dom is currently in his final year at the Royal Academy of Music on the jazz course. His playing and compositions draws on jazz and improvised music, post Rock/prog Metal, classical music and a variety of folk song. Dom uses techniques and pedals extensively to create textures and soundscapes, framing melodies and songs in new and exciting ways.
Dom is a frequent collaborator with Immy Churchill, Ashkan Layegh and other artists, as well as leading his own chamber groups and performing solo concerts. He co-led award-winning prog-metal band 'Influx of Insanity' for its duration 2017-2021.
His upcoming single 'Tidal Dance' releases 6th December to Bandcamp and streaming, from an upcoming debut album releasing March 2025, on CD and digital.
Dom and alto saxophonist Sam Norris will be playing their original compositions, written and/or arranged for the duo, as well as some of their favourite music.
They will be joined by bassist Isaac Burland and drummer Sam Nicholls for a set of freely flowing repertoire from a collective pool of original and transcribed tunes and melodies.
