Jacob & Drinkwater’s dynamic and emotionally charged live show, has energy, musical chemistry, and spontaneity. It regularly draws comparisons with the pairing of John Martyn & Danny Thompson.
Jacob's vocals deliver spine-tingling moments; the fluidity of his finger-picking underpinned by Drinkwater's rhythmic double bass and electric guitar. At times soaring, haunting, percussive, and driving, as a perfect counterfoil. The complement of stirring vocal harmonies rounds off the mix.
