this hyperstition is ambient focused and we will be taking it slow! as we enter the new year and colder weather, we thought it would be important to take a moment, breathe, reflect and join together for an evening of dreamy music and calm atmosphere.

For this hyperstition we will be having amberant performing a live ambient set alongside great visuals. This will be followed by three DJ’s throughout the night, hyperstition alumn molemann alongside our two residents, sionnach and membrane.

This hyperstition will be all ages (14 and under must be accompanied by an adult) and includes a two room setup, having both a setup in the main space in Common Ground as well as the bookstore downstairs.
Join us for a calm evening to get together, chat and take in some truly incredible music.

Our goal is to provide the safest space possible for everyone joining us here.

It is important to emphasize that most of the genres we play were created/ impacted and led by the work of marginalized people. These also include genres that were specifically made in opposition to oppressive systems and circumstances. It is impossible to separate the music from these contexts and because of this there will be ZERO TOLERANCE of Racism, Homophobia, Transphobia, Islamophobia, Antisemitism, Queerphobia, Misogyny, Fatphobia, Classism or Ableism. We expect everyone entering this space to be respectful to everyone around them. Your space is valid, but be mindful of the space you take and be generous when sharing it.

This extends to photos and videos, we do not operate a zero-photography policy but please try to ensure the comfort and consent of anybody you photograph.

If someone feels unsafe we will take measures to deescalate the situation and remove anyone who is causing harm.

The upstairs area for this upcoming Hyperstition will have step free access, however the bathrooms are not wheelchair accessible, as well as the downstairs area does not have step free access.
