An evening in the warmth and magic of By Our Hands We Make Our Way with:
LEAH SINEAD
EP Launch. Leah Sinead is a musician and writer whose work quietly gained attention for its fragile, haunting sound under her previous alias, Keto. Dark, boldly individual, lo-fi folk music. Leah's debut album, Blackened Pool, was described as "minimal but utterly compelling" by The Quietus - an impressive album that "imbues millennial folk with post-rock tension". In 2024 Leah released Piece of Sky, her first single for some time, which received love from BBC 6 Music, Radio X, BBC Introducing and more. "It's a spellbinding, slowly unfolding, haunting song, stripped back to bare bones. Leah's voice is chilly and lonely, coming from somewhere across a darkening room and delivering carefully obscure lines" (LeftLion). This show will celebrate the release of Leah's new EP, Western Buzz, which is out on 28 March.

QUINCEY MAY BROWN (solo)
Mancunian harpist and singer-songwriter Quincey May Brown released her debut album Basic Surgeon in November 2023 – a captivating combination of folk, jazz, ethereal sounds and darkly playful lyrics; innovative, introspective, witty and powerful. “Distinctive, atmospheric and haunting in all the right ways.” (Roddy Hart, BBC Radio Scotland).

YUMAH
Yumah is the music project of Nottingham-based artist Lucy Morrow. Using only her voice and a looper pedal, she creates layered, kaleidoscopic vocal soundscapes which summon the ghosts of lost highways, abandoned buildings and endless horizons. Lush vocal textures; evocative, ambient and hypnotic.
