Event information
Doomsday Dance Band – Toetapping sprightly psych pop from a theatrical 4-piece funk rock band based in London and Bristol. Coming from a background of Musical Theatre and Daytime TV (via large-scale community choirs) , they are well versed to deliver fun times and truly danceable grooves. Apparently they hail from the Alpha Centauri system, but feature a human bassist called Dave.
Michael Steele – Dreamy pairing of an acoustic guitar with strings, and yes, ‘Bryter Later’ Nick Drake vibes spring to mind for sure, but this Edinburgh based fellah pulls off his very own brand of pastoral acid folk/singer songwriter. There’s also a hint 0f Simon and Garfunkel, only they’ve been morphed into one (feeling) groovy entity!
