Event information
The Building Society, a new 60-capacity saloon-bar discotheque at the legendary Stag pub, welcomes the Des Was a Bowie Fan clubnight for a new monthly residency in the Rhondda Valley.
Indiepop, new wave, post-punk, 60s Pop, Motown and Northern Soul dancing, with the glimmer and shimmer of wild cat rock'n'roll. The Shangri-Las to The Smiths, Candi Staton to The Cure, Brigitte Bardot to Belle and Sebastian, Roy Orbison to The Raincoats, Little Richard to Little Eva, Dusty Springfield to Depeche Mode, Jackie Wilson to Joy Division, Jimmy Ruffin to David Bowie. 8pm till midnight.
