Event information
Lovely Assistant have an eye towards music's history—that is, the good parts: the torch songs of the fifties; the lavish, warm production and maximalism of the seventies, harkening back to Steely Dan and Laurel Canyon's golden age; the eclecticism and sleek virtuosity of Prince; the space and tenderness of Arthur Russell.
Based in Newcastle and currently touring in promotion of their new album 'Fuck Love', Lovely Assistant grace Leed's Hyde Park Book Club on 19 March.
