Nominated by the UK Blues Federation in 2024 for band of the year and album of the year, Jimmy Regal and the Royals are one of the UK's most exciting and original bands on the circuit. Taking their inspiration from the blues of the Mississippi delta, infused with the funky groves of New Orleans and then adding a touch of South London grit, this tough and howlin’ blues three piece play a blend of original music that has been gaining the attention of blues fans around the world.
Their 2023 album First and Last Stop topped the UK and international blues charts, along with enthusiastic reviews from major music publications and radio DJ's. Jimmy Regal and the Royals possess a powerful live sound that translates to a dynamic live performance; an experienced gigging band, they have played with the likes of Grammy Award winner Cedric Burnside, the B.B. King Band and 3 x Billboard Blues chart toppers GA-20.
