“Betty Davis' accountant meets Abba in Nico's disused swimming pool”: that’s the excellent tagline of this clever, funny and singularly inventive experimental pop duo from Bristol, based around the voice & piano of Sally Stevens and the bass clarinet of Owen O Neill. They have been likened to “dirty furniture music”, talk about themselves in the third person, and play original music using improvisation, pop melodies, spoken word, ghost noises and dirty riffs - all filler no killer. “Get on the scene, like a fax machine”. Plus special guests the extraordinarily-bassoon-led duo Crash Bandicoot. Can’t wait!!
