Event information
Share an evening of intricate guitarwork, enchanting melodies, atmospheric textures, and beautiful songs with songwriters Anne-Marie Sanderson and Coruja Jones, each performing a mesmerising set of music.
Anne-Marie Sanderson
Anne-Marie Sanderson is a Cumbrian singer-songwriter whose music is at once earthy and airy, grounded yet ethereal. Drawing inspiration from nature, literature and her travels, Sanderson's haunting melodies and poetic lyrics mesmerise and enchant, taking listeners on inner journeys of their own.
Her new album, Old Light, has been described as "uplifting and gentle" (NARC), "articulate and ethereal" (Rocking Magpie), and "melodically divine" (BBC Introducing). With influences including Nick Drake and Jesca Hoop, her intricate guitar work and captivating vocals make her a standout in the modern folk scene.
Coruja Jones
Dreamy, melancholic, indie-folk. Beautiful songs with soaring high notes, combined with intricate, delicate guitar work into cavernous reverbs, which take aim at your heart.
His latest record 'Undo' delves into the healing process in different forms, produced by Sam Vicary (The Cinematic Orchestra).
"Deft and assured" - Tom Robinson (BBC6 Music)
"Known for his evocative storytelling and soulful delivery, this latest release solidifies Jones as a poignant voice on the contemporary scene.” – Flex Music
