Nigel North plays music German renaissance lute music from the printed books of Newsidler, Gerle and Judenkünig (c.1530–1550); the programme is entitled 'Tanzen und Singen'. The concert will be preceded by a day of talks and short recitals, including a masterclass with Nigel North from 11 am, free and open to all, and a concert performance of an early 17th century masque at 2 pm.
