Event information
Three fine bands with very different sounds, local and live just for you!
SLOW MUNITIONS are Ollie Bonugli (drums), John Forrester (bass) and Matthew Jure (vocals, guitar). Formed in 2022 and based in Kent, the band recorded their Centennial EP at The Albion Rooms in Margate and are rehearsing their début album Superterranea Britannica. Their music is epic without being bloated, a perfect combination of heavy thunder, progressive vibes and solid rock. “There’s a shimmering quality…this is dangerous, memorable psych rock that could fill stadiums.” ~ Darren Allison, Spiritualized & My Bloody Valentine
ELECTRIC HOARSE is a high-energy band influenced by classic, indie and desert rock; the sound of England in the summertime; an intoxicating blend of lazy days, electric nights and banging tunes! Their debut album, Endless Summer, released in 2024, showcases their distinct style and has cemented their reputation as outstanding songwriters and live performers. "Musically, they combine the jaunt and joyous nature of upbeat British indie-rock music with a hazy, windswept vibe that has drifted in from some far-flung, US desert rock sound. This deft and delicate combination makes for a mercurial blend of groove, energy, and drifting nostalgia.” ~ The Big Takeover magazine
SMASHING DRAGONS have had over 1 million views of their music videos on YouTube, with the most popular video getting over 700,000 views alone - yet they are all only 12 yrs old! Based in Cranbrook, they got together as a school band when they were just 9 yrs old and it soon became clear that they had the kind of raw talent that grabs your attention. They have had comments from around the world comparing them to the Beatles, The Rolling Stones and many more. They are now working on writing & recording their own original songs. Come and see them now and be a part of the future of Rock music.
