John Miller and his Country Casuals
We are delighted that John Miller and his Country Casuals will be joining us at the March Country Soul. One of the great country singers these Islands have produced Mr Miller began his musical journey in the 1990s fronting Glasgow alternative Country Rock outfit Radio Sweethearts. Having released many recordings his latest long player “Losers Hall Of Fame” (Folk’n’Western Recording Co.) was released last year to much acclaim. Fronting his Country Casuals band he has appeared on numerous TV and Radio shows over the years and has played on the same stage with such musical luminaries such as Dale Watson, BR5-49, Laura Cantrell, The Mavericks and the late great Townes Van Zandt. Playing tunes from his new LP and his extensive catalogue John will be accompanied by a crack band consisting of Martin Barrett (vocals/guitar), Phil Morgan (pedal steel), NB Herd (vocals/bass) and Brian Nevill (drums).

Siobhán Parr
From Peckham to Memphis and now back to Soho South London’s golden-voiced Siobhán Parr will be returning to the Country Soul Sessions. Playing her own soulful originals plus some heartfelt covers by the likes of Lucinda Williams, John Prine, Bonnie Raitt and more don’t miss this wonderful singer doing what she does. Siobhán will be accompanied by the fantastic Mr Rick Batey on lead guitar.
