Event information
Kavus Torabi is a composer/ musician. He is a member of Gong, The Utopia Strong, Cardiacs, Knifeworld, and more. As a solo artist, he performs songs of mortality and eternity with voice, harmonium, and electric guitar. 'Kavus Torabi’s greatest skill is his ability to cram incisive but wonderfully alien melodies into every misshapen sonic nook' The Guardian 'A key figure in British psychedelic and progressive music' The Quietus 'He has a quality that's unpredictable, engaging, and seducing' Louder Than War 'The songs are modular, folksy and ghosted by fantastical visions' Uncut.

Support from Chantelle Smith and Richard Wileman's wyrd weaving collaboration. They first worked together on Richard's album 'The Forked Road'.
Review: ;Have you heard the news? The dead walk! “Old bones are reincarnated”, but they don’t appear to be of the flesh-eating variety, Old Bones making for a sedate and quite majestic rising of the dead, the improbable momentum replicated in the cyclical rhythm, harp and keyboards adding beautiful textures to the duetting voices of Richard and Chantelle Smith. This is the kind of zombie apocalypse I can fully get behind!' Jez Rowden, The Progressve Aspect.
