It’s only GTB, Bristol’s mythic BBC Jazz Award winners, celebrating 25 years of national & international touring, and bringing tunes from their seven studio albums to this blink-and-you’ll-miss-it-and-you-certainly-don’t-want-to-miss-this-one / under-the-radar / kind-of-unplugged / gig-in-a-cupboard. The mighty rhythm section from the band Portishead (that’s Captain Clive Deamer on drums & Brigadier Jim Barr on bass) is joined by the seemingly-psychic horn section of Lance Corporal Jake McMurchie and Private P Judge.
