Battle of the Bands in aid of the charities Care For Kids and K9focus

The Palladium Club are pleased to be hosting a Battle of the Bands in aid of 2 amazing charities, Care For Kids and K9Focus

Care for Kids provides financial support to local families who have a child diagnosed with a life threatening illness or condition. This is to help with the costs of travelling to and staying at specialist children’s hospitals outside the area. It also helps with loss of earnings whilst caring for a very poorly child. We also carry out enhancements to the Caroline Thorpe children’s ward at NDDH, making the ward more comfortable for the children who use it.

Care for Kids is a very small but focused charity, with every donation making a significant impact on the charity's ability to support local families who are going through the toughest of times. K9focus is a Dog and Cat rescue based in North Devon and run entirely by volunteers who give their time freely. Our main aim is the rescue, reabilitation and rehoming of abused and unwanted dogs and cats (although we have been known to rescue the odd pig, chicken and donkey!). Each year we rescue in excess of 100 pets and help many more through our Pet Assist scheme. This scheme was launched in October and offers financial help to individuals who are struggling to keep their beloved pets due to financial hardship, illness or homelessness. We receive no official funding and rely totally on our fundraising events and those organised by our supporters - so please do support this event - it means so much to us and of course the animals.
