Event information
Join us for an evening of great music, food and drink to celebrate 40 years of the amazing organisation WomenCentre.
Vegan, vegetarian and meat pies (plus peas) will be available to buy for £4 on the night and a raffle for some great prizes will be held (tickets will cost £1 each).
Music will be provided by an array of talented musicians from Calderdale.
You will also hear about the important work of WomenCentre in our area.
Doors open at 7pm. The bar will be open from 7-11. Traditional music session from 7.30-8.15. Angela Everson, Chief Executive of WomenCentre, will then speak about the work of the centre and highlight the importance of continuing and developing services for vulnerable women and their families. A local band, The Muthers will play from 9. They bring a mix of folk, pop and indie tunes together with harmonies that are sometimes joyful and, at, other times, haunting. A multi-instrumental line up! Expect some re-worked classics that will have your toes tapping.
