Deirdre Cartwright is a London based guitarist and composer who first became well known in the 1980s for presenting the BBC TV’s ground breaking series 'Rockschool' and for playing in the Afro Latin Jazz group 'The Guest Stars' along with Alison Rayner. They recorded three albums and toured in 17 countries.

Diane McLoughlin is a highly regarded saxophonist, composer and arranger. Giant Steppes, her 17-piece jazz orchestra, performed to critical acclaim throughout Britain, including a BBC Radio 3 interview and live concert broadcast. She leads the chamber jazz group The Casimir Connection who have just released two critically acclaimed albums..

Jessica Palin has played congas and percussion with dancers and theatre companies as well as Latin, African, Jazz and Rock bands.
