To hear Alice Howe sing is to be enraptured by the natural, unaffected beauty of her voice. There's no artifice, no histrionics - just honest, emotionally resonant singing in the tradition of roots music that shaped her.
Freebo is the legendary bass player best known for his decade of touring with Bonnie Raitt and distinguished himself as one of the great bassists of our time.
Together, they present a unique study in contrast. Each are compelling performers, they lead and support each other on Alice's well crafted songs. Freebo weaves his unique fretless bass into Alice's superb vocals for performances with a undeniable chemistry.
