Under the baton of our new Musical Director, Dominic Grier, Angmering Chorale will perform a very varied selection of pieces across five centuries — both church music and secular — featuring Haydn's Te Deum, Under the baton of our new Musical Director, Dominic Grier, Angmering Chorale will perform a very varied selection of pieces across five centuries — both church music and secular — featuring Haydn's Te Deum, accompanied by the renowned local organist Hamish Dustagheer who will also play two or three pieces for the organ.

Eric Holmes was associated with the Chorale for almost 50 years and, when there were fears that it might not be able to continue, was very involved (in his 94th year) with efforts to ensure that it would.

Dominic Grier, the Musical Director of Worthing Philharmonic Orchestra, who has an international curriculum vitae in opera and ballet as well as other music, joined us at the beginning of ths year and this will be his first concert with the Angmering Chorale.

Hamish plays for the Brighton Orpheus Choir and is Head of Keyboards at Brighton College and Director of Music at St. Bartholomew's Church, Brighton. Since relocating to Sus sex in 2022 he's become an active figure in the region's thriving music scene. He sustains a varied musical career in the UK and abroad as a soloist, repetiteur and conductor.
