Event information
JAMES KILVINGTON- Very popular on the UK comedy circuit, the “every-day” man, James Kilvington has over 15 million recent views from online content and featured in every major newspaper for his comedy performances. Used to playing in large auditoriums, he is also just as at home in small rowdy crowded rooms or intimate comedy clubs. He’s also done UK tour support for some big names on the UK circuit including Clinton Baptiste.
MAXINE WADE - With blue hair and head-to-toe in leopard print, Maxine Wade certainly cuts a distinctive figure on stage, part Bet Lynch, part Just Stop Oil protester by her own description. Indeed much of her set can be surmised as ‘what am I like?!’, from those bold fashion choices to the lack of decorum in her day job as a nurse.
Like many in the medical profession, she has a dark sense of humour and isn’t coy when talking about topics such as porn – which an amusing notion of why Yorkshire accents like hers are rarely heard in that genre. BBC New Comedy Award Semi Finalist 23' YCA Best Breakthrough Act 23'
DANNY POSTHILL - Danny is undoubtedly one of the most promising British comedians around today. He is a well-known and much loved stand-up comedian and impressionist, well remembered for his outstanding performance on the finals of Britain’s Got Talent in 2015. Since then Danny has never stopped, performing all over the world, working around the Mediterranean and South America, plus taking his Donald Trump Act far and wide, performing at events from London to Singapore. His versatile act appeals to all audiences, with his hilarious stand-up mixed with a range of impressions such as Alan Carr, Michael McIntyre, Sarah Millican and President Donald Trump, alongside all the other topical political characters of today. His TV credentials include Pointless Celebrities, where he appeared alongside fellow impressionists Alistair McGowan, Rory Bremner and John Culshaw. He also starred as Donald Trump in a spoof rap battle against Hilary Clinton for Sky News. Danny is a regular headline act at comedy clubs across the UK, and has most recently taken his own one man show That Bloke Who Does Voices to The Edinburgh Fringe to great reviews.
MC EDDIE FORTUNE - a Liverpool based comic described as a comedic Tornado, talking about the woes of dating, work life and the need to stay in shape, he occasionally mistakes himself as a Julia Roberts from pretty woman. His act can be a gag a second or an existential monologue, poem or song. Displaying a contradictory self deprecating confidence, and heckling the audience with beautiful compliments.
