Daughter of a best selling author, Jojo Sutherland was raised in a castle until the money ran out and the entire family had to move into a caravan. Two marriages and four children later, Jojo is a regular on Scottish TV and radio in addition to providing tour support to Jonathan Pie, John Bishop and Jason Manford. Her “healthy neglect” approach to parenting forms the backbone to her material interspersed with everyday grievances and motherly advice.
“You will laugh.. a LOT” ★★★★ The Scotsman “Stand-up comedy at it’s best” ★★★★★ SG Fringe
Markus Birdman’s dad is a real life vicar and his uncle is a bishop. Neither of these facts have any bearing on his comedy whatsoever but we have been booking him for years and he smashes it every single time. And, yes, he is the guy from BGT.
“Made me laugh so hard it hurt” BBC “Consummate comic” The Stage
Stephen Bailey, (Live at the Apollo, Celebrity Mastermind, Celebrity Weakest Link, Madame Blanc Mysteries etc), is a proud Northern, working class, gay man. Although best known as a TV presenter it’s the arena of live, stand up comedy where Stephen really shines. Gossipy, bitchy, close to the bone even, but with such an infectious sense of fun everyone gets the joke and no one is left behind.
“Natural talent” Metro “Rising star” The Sun “Hilarious from the first line” Voice “Fabulously funny” The Guardian
Your evening comes complete with Oliver Bowler. Off The Rails Comedy Club is programmed, promoted and produced by Comedy In A Van and held at The Royal George, Greenfield.
