Event information
Vintage blues and roots duo based in Plymouth. Vince has been playing and singing the blues in all its forms since the mid 80's and has influenced many like minded musicians with his wide repertoire of virtuoso guitar playing. Sophie Lord was one of those people and after 10 years working as a bass player in London Sophie joined forces with Vince in early 2022. Their stripped back style touches on jump blues, calypso, swing & ragtime.
Midnight Cannonball is a power trio playing old-school music - authentic blues, proper rock'n'roll, swing, jump, jazz and more. Featuring Neil Grove on guitar, they cover a vast array of styles & fast rockin' & rollin' tunes with a hint of rockabilly, a healthy dose of choppy, rhythmic styles topped with a smattering of slide.
