The Chortle Student Comedy Award has a formidable reputation for finding new talent with previous winners and finalists including Joe Lycett, Phil Wang, Jamali Maddix, Ed Gamble, Chris Ramsey, Richard Gadd, Laura Lexx, Iain Stirling, Simon Bird and Tom Rosenthal.
At the prestigious semi-final, a specially selected batch of the best student comics will try to impress a panel of comedy industry experts and land a coveted place in the final at the Edinburgh Fringe, and join that roll-call of esteemed acts. Dare you miss out?
