Event information

This year's Songwriter's Circle is hosted by our very own Rock n Roll star who needs no further introduction, the very talented Julian Jones. He will be joined on stage by Banjo Jen, Joe Doonan and Kier, a new face to Lynne's Live Lounge. All on the same stage at the same time, the singer/songwriter will take turns singing a song they have written, after telling you the story behind it.

Sheffield-based artist Banjo Jen is difficult to categorise but easy to fall for. Her unique brand of folky Americana, with insightful observations and an eclectic original repertoire, has seen her gain a growing reputation as one to watch on the UK singer-songwriter scene. With razor-sharp songwriting, percussive Appalachian step-dancing and engaging between-song banter, her refreshingly original live act is guaranteed to win the heart of every crowd.

Joe Doonan is an established singer-songwriter whose songs tell real-life stories of hope, loss and love. Joe recently released some of his best work to date, having having worked with a number of multi-platinum selling and Emmy Award winning song-writers from across the globe. These included the likes of Paddy Byrne (Tom Grennon, Paoloma Faith) and Rob Wells (Adam Lambert, Ariana Grande). Joe continues to receive wide recognition for his work, having recently been awarded a slot at Liverpool’s Official Eurovision Festival - ‘Eurofest’, as well as headlining at the prestigious Bedford in London.

KIER, is a Yorkshire-based 24-year-old who is making waves with her captivating and genre-blending style. Since launching her solo career in late 2022, KIER has made a remarkable impact, performing at iconic venues like The Leadmill and Holmfirth Picturedome, and even guest appeared on the main stage at Tramlines. Her music, which seamlessly fuses country/Americana, indie, alt, pop, and rock, proves that boundaries in music are meant to be broken.

Please note this is a listening gig.

Homemade Food is available to buy before the gig starts. I will send out menus prior to the event and if you wish to eat then I will need preorders- which you pay for on the day.
