'At This Time' - by Kelly Quigley

Kelly Quigley has been commissioned by the Echo Echo Festival of Dance and Movement to lead an ensemble of 12+ local professional and semi-professional performers in two rehearsed improvisations that will blur the lines between structure and spontaneity. Kelly will be working with the ensemble in the studio in the lead up to the festival, exploring how our memories and imagination shape our presence in any given moment - while our interactions within that moment can create something entirely new!

Kelly Quigley (Arrangement) is a freelance dance artist and has been developing and sharing her perspective on Poetic Movement for the last 15 years. She became an ensemble member of Echo Echo Dance Theatre Company in 2009 and has been teaching, directing, choreographing, performing and writing ever since. Kelly performs regularly locally, nationally and internationally with her own work and as part of the Echo Echo Ensemble, including places such as Hong Kong, Russia and Sweden. She regularly teaches poetic movement to people of all ages and abilities both nationally and internationally and plays a leading role in Echo Echo’s award-winning programme for over-50s, Body Wisdom, which frequently creates new performance projects.
