Event information
Colin Norrby's award-winning ‘Amid the Noise and the Haste’ was created from the Echo Echo Festival of Dance and Movement 2021 project 'Together Alone: Solos in the City' , directed by Steve Batts, where 20 dancers of varying ages performed a series of solos in more than 50 outdoor locations in Derry and surrounding areas.
The 12-minute film will be screened at the opening night of Echo Echo Festival before being released for free viewing online via www.echoechodance.com.
Winner of the Light Moves Festival Innovative use of Music and Sound Award (2023).
