Faeland are welcomed to Oundle for the very first time to play a Little Ember Session

This fabulous duo bring a modern folk sound full of warmth, connection, and heartfelt storytelling.

Performed through soulful arrangements, Faeland create beautiful acoustic music, exploring themes of love, nature and healing.

Rebecca’s powerful, emotive vocals, paired with Jacob’s instrumental skills, lead to a fresh acoustic sound that resonates as both modern and ancient, bridging the gap between contemporary indie and timeless folk. Performances can include vocals, acoustic guitars, strings, Celtic harp, charango, accordion, drums and double bass. Echoes of Joni Mitchell, Martha Tilston and Fleetwood Mac, are detectable but the vibe is unique and original.

Faeland’s music has attracted widespread acclaim – it was championed by BBC 6 Music and BBC Introducing amongst others. Their song “End of the Day” features on the soundtrack to feature film “23 Walks”, starring Dave Johns (I, Daniel Blake) and Alison Steadman (Gavin & Stacey).
