Event information
Anthony Halliday, who was awarded a Medal of the Worshipful Company of Musicians, will give an organ recital that includes works by Herbert Howells, Lennox Berkeley and Frederick Bridge, former Masters of the Musicians' Company, along with pieces by George Frideric Handel and Ludwig van Beethoven. The organ at St Lawrence's is well-known for its connection with Handel, who performed the Chandos Anthems here. Dr Halliday's programme will demonstrate the versatility of the reconstructed instrument.
The Friends of St Lawrence is a registered charity (Number 266536).
