Event information
Wasted Youth, the original post-punk and pre-goth cult band from 1979-82, features original members Ken Scott (Vocals) and Rocco Barker (Gtr), with new (and younger!) members Alan Temple (Drums), Josef Rosam (Gtr) and Sabrina Amade (Bass). Whilst paying their respect and having great love for the ‘old’ Wasted Youth, the ‘new’ Wasted Youth are not a nostalgia act and are keen to prove that they have something new to offer, both visually and sonically.
Wasted Youth last went on the road in 2024 and played a series of successful gigs and festivals throughout the year. Wanting to capitalise on this success and fans eager for a new Wasted Youth record, a studio was booked. And now, six months later, the album is finished and almost ready to go.
The new Wasted Youth album is called ‘NEO NOIR’ (WY Records) and is scheduled for release in April, 2025. ‘NEO NOIR’ is the debut album by the modern-day Wasted Youth and features nine original compositions, all of them killer!
Wasted Youth played Ramsgate's Music Hall some eighteen months ago and are keen to return now that their new album is finished. We had a real blast and a fantastic audience last time so let’s do it all again!
Ramsgate's Music Hall has a disabled lift, accessible toilet, and step-free access. The venue can also accommodate wheelchair users near the front of the stage and there are free carer available.
The support act (TBA) will be onstage at 8.15pm and Wasted Youth at 9.15pm.
