The Public Eye are a four-piece indie rock band formed in Derby, England in late 2021. Bursting with catchy hooks, jangling guitar tones and a driving rhythm section, The Public Eye’s music is an exciting melting pot of classic British rock and lyrics that tackle the current topics and issues surrounding the youth of today
Dirty Blonde are a fierce female duo hailing from Northwest England. They were recently praised as “One of the most exciting new acts to come through Radio 1’s Future Alternative’. Dirty Blonde create storytelling anthems backed by heavy riffs. They are gaining momentum and are bound to be one of the bands of 2025!
The Heavy North’ s sounds have been described as ‘dive bar blues from the Mersey delta’ and this six piece have certainly made their mark on the music scene having airtime on BBC 6 Music, Radio X, and picked up by BBC Introducing. Stuart’s strong vocals sit perfectly atop the distorted guitar riffs and carefully crafted melodies of the band as he belts out lyrics reflecting on life experiences and the thoughts and emotions that come from them.
Cheltenham’s SIRACUSE encapsulate deep echoes, delayed guitar lines, and lyrics of escapism and hope. Influenced by shoegaze and Britrock with a strong use of guitar pedals. They draw comparisons as diverse as Editors, Kasabian, Joy Division, and early Verve. One of the best live bands on the circuit and are primed for a bust 2025.
Red Light Camera are a four-piece alternative rock band from Birmingham. Red Light Camera’s sound is inspired by early 2000s rock music, The Strokes, The Smiths, Oasis, and Stereophonics. Their music combines catchy guitar riffs, driving bass lines, and punchy vocals.
Ventrelles are playing homage to acts such as Echo and The Bunnymen, The Chameleons, and The Jesus and Mary Chain this band have a standout sound combining sparkling jangly guitar pop and soulful basslines which they have dubbed ‘Fleece Pop’. Together since 2017 front man Phil created the foundations for the band while living in Chicago and they take their name from his Chicago CTA travelcard. Live this band ooze their passion for performance, backing up their stated goal to grace and enjoy as many stages as they can.
Champagne Casuals were formed in Birmingham in 2021, the band have since worked with some big names and gained exposure across multiple local and national radio stations. Releasing their first EP What’s In It For Me in 2024 having worked with producer Brian Lucey. A true classic indie-rock band they draw inspiration from the ‘90s Britpop era to create their sound. Focusing their songs on some deep subjects, some they wrote up to 20 years ago, they feel more like a band that has been together forever than relatively new to the scene.
