ONCE UPON A TIME IN DRAGONVILLE – A collection of international short animations designed to appeal to young children and families.

Audience Award! Vote for your favourite short film at the end of the screening.

1. Filante (Dir: Marion Jamault, France, 2024)
A little bat keeps pieces of the moon inside a shell. At the same time, a girl is looking for her lost mouse, wishing the moon would come back. The two will cross paths in this magical story.

2. Hoofs on Skates (Dir: Ignas Meilunas, Lithuania, 2024)
In a winter wonderland, two friends are having a blast ice-skating on a frozen lake. Suddenly a strange and unfamiliar world cracks open underneath them: now they must learn how to deal with the otherness, without letting fear rule them.

3. Forever Seven (Dir: Antje Heyn & Alexander Isert, Germany, 2024)
A box is a box is a box. Sometimes though it's just a matter of perspective to discover something completely different behind it.

4. Once Upon a Time in Dragonville (Dir: Marika Herz, France, 2024)
Samson, a dragon bullied by the other inhabitants of Dragonville, is forced to enter Humanville. There he meets Simon, a little boy who helps him to face all the difficulties. Samson discovers a new world and, above all, a taste of friendship.

5. Who’s Wrong? (Dir: Stina Wirsén and Linda Hambäck, Sweden, 2024)
Today is show-and-tell at preschool and all the kids bring their favourite toy. Teddycat is so excited about showing her superhero. But when all the children settle down in a circle, ready to share, Little Dog shows up!

6. Coin Coin (Dir: Anouk Archambault, Amélie Frit, Lucile Grunder, Solenn Lelaisant, Jeanne Marotte, France, 2023)
Two best friends, a duck and a rabbit, play together at the park when a cool cat appears with a Gameboy.

7. Leap of Faith (Dir: Martina Doll, Anaïs Dos, Coline Reverbel, Kenzo Talma, Edgard Vernier and Lisa Vlaine, France, 2024)
A girl is on holiday at the beach with her little brother, when suddenly, it’s love at first sight for a mysterious boy she sees in the distance.

Age Recommendation: 6+

Start Time: 12.00pm (Exit Time: 1.10pm approx..).
