In the Eastern Himalayas, night after night, a lepidopterist and her assistant examine the thousands of moths attracted to their UV light “trap”.

Nocturnes is the 2024 Winner of the World Cinema Documentary Special Jury Award at the Sundance Film Festival.
SPECIAL GUEST We’re delighted to welcome, as our special guest, Mark Hammond of the Northamptonshire Moth Group. Mark is also the Northamptonshire Moth Recorder (meaning he collates records of all of the county’s moths – especially sightings of the rare ones.)
