Emotion lies at the heart of fiction and memoir, but naming an emotion isn’t enough to bring it to life. How, then, do we make the reader feel anything? What gives our writing emotional punch? Come explore the possibilities–and bring something to write with.
Ellen Hawley is the author of five novels, including 'A Decent World' and 'Other People Manage', from Swift Press. She lives in North Cornwall.
