An opportunity to meet with the author of "Girl Displaced" and "Invisible" - both of which will be available to buy on the night.
Carmen Capuano, B. Ed (Hons) is a published cross-genre author, screenwriter and producer. She has been commissioned to polish Hollywood scripts, develop NHS teaching apps and to write projects for ‘A list’ talent and directors. She has also recently been an invited panellist for Book Week, Scotland.
Although much of her commissioned work is with top global production companies and therefore confidential under NDAs, other commissioning companies include Stagescreen Productions, and Unique Inspiration.
She is CEO of Emmeline Productions and works with a variety of production companies to deliver pitches and scripts across all genres including factual entertainment, to UK broadcasters and global streamers.
To date she has penned 29 novels in every genre from dystopian sci-fi to contemporary realism, reflecting the ills, joys and tribulations of the human condition, as well as dealing sympathetically with issues of transgender, LGBTQ+, autism and Tourette’s and has performed a number of book to screen and screen to book adaptations.
