Returning to the Tap Social Groove Gig , Espiritus Libres features some of my favourite musicians to play our potent mix of Latin, Brazilian and Soul Jazz tunes with the emphasis on beautiful Melodies and danceable grooves. Join us for an evening of melodic groove based music including tunes from the likes of Airto Moreira, Donny Hathaway, Ray Barretto, Sergio Mendes , Carla Bley, Pat Metheny, Oscar Hernandez, Chick Corea, Vince Mendoza and Eddie Harris.  The band includes some of the finest musicians in the UK. Featuring the soulful tenor sax of Brandon Allen, the virtuosic pianist Tim Lapthorn, the fiery energy of Ben Cummings on trumpet, the dream rhythm section of Phil Mulford - Electric Bass and Jack Pollitt - drums with Keith Fairbairn on Percussion. Whether you come along to dance or sit and listen, this is an evening not to be missed! Plus of course the delicious pizzas and award winning beers from our wonderfully supportive hosts the Tap Social Movement .
