Julie jive and the Bigshots are an Essex based band bringing you music mainly from the roots of rock and roll, and maybe later in the evening , some classic party music too! They will have you dancing, jiving and strolling the night away.

The band are much in demand , playing at festivals, rock and roll weekenders, classic car shows, rock and roll clubs etc, and we are lucky they are available for our fund raising evening.

The band members are:

Westie. Super saxophone player and vocalist who comes from a musical background and has lead ,,
or featured in many local bands.

Wingo . Fabulous guitarist whose range extends from the Shadows to Django, via Eddie Cochran, and Chuck Berry.

Cliff the Bass. Professional musical career mixed with coaching professional football kept him busy!

Ken the Drummer. Involved with bands from early days in London pubs through sixties bands to Flashbax and the The Bigshots.

Julie Jive . Everyone’s favourite Rock and roll, and party, vocalist. Known for her great voice and bubbly personality. Recently appeared in Las Vegas.
