Kip Winter & Dave Wilson are one of the UK's hardest working acts, performing often hard-hitting original songs in stunning harmony, interspersed with wicked, self-deprecating humour. They have toured throughout the UK, Europe, Australia, New Zealand and Canada, with festival appearances including Cambridge, Shrewsbury, Gate to Southwell, Cropredy, New Forest, Wimborne, Costa Music in Portugal, Warwick, Brugge International Festival of Arts, Bromyard, Derby and many more.
Winter Wilson's 12th album, Home, was released January 2025. Featuring 12 all-new songs covering subjects from love and loss to good riddance and everything in between, Fatea Magazine called it "a fine addition to an illustrious discography, a very welcome home indeed".
Live performance is where the duo really excel. Kip and Dave bring a sense of intimacy to every venue, blending superb, often hard-hitting original songs, stunning harmonies and musicianship with sometimes hilarious humour and tales of life on the road. Kip (vocals, accordion, guitar, flute) "simply has a voice to die for” (John Roffey, Maverick Magazine), while Dave (vocals, guitar and banjo) is among the top tier of British songwriters, with his songs sung in folk clubs across the UK and beyond. Together, their voices are sublime.
