From Belfast, where he started his recording career 40 years back with 'Religious Persuasion' on Stiff Records, via living in Switzerland and Melbourne, a worldwide smattering albums, instruments, musicians and venues, Real World Studios, hosting Womad, ALT supergroup with Tim Finn and Liam Ó Maonlaí...
Andy White writes and performs songs that produce poetic pondering, evoke a literate landscape and arouse immeasurable emotions.
Andy is returning once again to this fine little, intimate venue, The Greys, Brighton with another new album in the offing, produced at Abbey Road by longtime link to Andy and that iconic studio, John Leckie - whose CV includes tape-oping Harrison / Lennon / Barrett; engineering Pink Floyd / McCartney / Soft Machine / Roy Harper / Syd Barrett; producing Stone Roses / Radiohead / Magazine / XTC / Levellers / PIL / Human League / Simple Minds / Be-Bop Deluxe / The Coral / Muse...).
