The 53.
Guitar/drums duo from London, who play old school garage style rock with all the lo-fi rough edges one would expect from a band that is early in their career. The guitar is fuzzy, the drums are propulsive on the toms, while the songs have a clear melodic flow and hooks that are simultaneously catchy and raw. New single 'Spider Girl' is out now at all great indie record shops.
Joe Buzfuz.
Joe Buzfuz is the leader of cult band Sergeant Buzfuz and founder of the Blang label. His solo sets, combining guitar with samples, range from poetry to poptronica.
