Very exciting to see the return of the ever (and deservedly) popular Tango Calor, featuring Mirek Salmon (BBC National Orchestra of Wales, RSC, Moscow Drug Club, etc) on the astonishing bandoneon; masterful guitarist Daryl Kellie (“truly stunning” - D'Addario Strings), and El Rincón favourite, percussionist Jimi Can. Jimi has long been a fan of the Grammy-winning tango album by flamenco star Diego El Cigala, so it only seemed right for these three to put their heads together and dive into this repertoire alongside flamenco retellings of their favourite tango songs.
