The music on offer tonight comes straight from the heart, with passion and vulnerability at its core. The two acts will take you on an emotional journey to remember.
Apple Trio are a vocal trio based in Oxford who sing acappella arrangements of both traditional and contemporary songs. Described as 'shiver-making', their three distinctive voices complement each other in a a magical way, bringing an eclectic repertoire of songs to life with sensitivity and charm.
Composer and cellist Lou Lyne (from Oxford band 'Brickwork Lizards') will share her unique music through the Blue Almond Project, an ensemble consisting of much-loved musicians from the Oxford classical and folk music scenes. Lou's songs without words have been described as 'exquisite and utterly her own' and 'sure to pull on your heartstrings'.
