Event information
Word Herd is a brand new monthly spoken word event, proudly brought to you by SoapBox Spoken Word CIC.
Each edition will feature three talented emerging poets/performers from the local region, sharing their original works, in the new town centre art space: CHIP Studios. Strictly limited to 40 tickets (seated), with a BYOB policy (bring your own beverages), the income from each event will be split amongst the poets, and SoapBox Spoken Word CIC.
Hosted by Amy Wragg, this event will create a platform for advancing poets & performers to develop a longer set and reach new audiences, in an intimate, friendly and beautiful environment. The venue will be lit up and beautifully decorated, fostering a truly engaged space for artistic development.
Doors open at 7pm, starts at 7.30pm. Finished by 10pm.
