Event information

Leicester's hottest music night LISTEN, YEH! brings the return of the mighty 'DEMONS OF RUBY MAE'... Somewhat legends of the scene, they're back with an intimate acoustic show at Grays/LCB Depot before embarking on a full band tour later on in the year!

DEMONS OF RUBY MAE
Demons of Ruby Mae are a British alternative indie duo known for their emotive sound, blending atmospheric synths, soaring melodies, and heartfelt lyricism. Formed in Leicester, the band has gained a dedicated following with their cinematic approach to song writing, drawing comparisons to acts like The National and London Grammar. Their music often explores themes of love, loss, and introspection, delivered through haunting vocals and rich instrumentation. Over the years, Demons of Ruby Mae have earned critical acclaim and featured on major platforms, including TV soundtracks and radio playlists, solidifying their place in the UK indie scene.

After a three-year hiatus, Demons of Ruby Mae are returning to the stage with a series of intimate acoustic shows, starting in their hometown of Leicester at Grays, LCB Depot on April 4th. Stripping their emotive sound back to its rawest form, the duo will reconnect with fans through a set of haunting melodies and heartfelt lyricism in a more personal setting.

NOUR
Nour is a singer-songwriter, with influences from artists such as Billie Marten, Rachel Chinouriri, and Maggie Rogers. Performing with a drummer - Alex Curle - and guitarist - Callum Sansome - they will be bringing some soft indie and soulful notes to their set.

BANDASHIR
Bandashir is a Leicester based musician who takes large influence from the likes of Bon Iver, Ben Howard & Mk.gee. His love of Jazz, Neo-Soul & Folk also shines through in his music and matched with his unique voice, his stripped-back guitar creates melancholic stories about life, love & beyond.

CHARLIE JONES
Charlie Jones from the Midlands (BBC Radio 2 singer songwriter of the year finalist, Charlie & The Martyrs) weaves intricate tales with her soothing tones and capacity for expression. A treat for the soul.
