On the afternoon of Sunday 28th September we're looking forward to welcoming back the excellent Steve Gibbons Band for another gig packed with classic tracks from the long and distinguished musical career of the legendary Steve Gibbons!

We're sure many of you don't need an introduction to Steve but for those of you not overly familiar with his over 50 years in the music business, the blues rock band from Birmingham, led by Steve Gibbons, evolved out of the final line-up of The Idle Race (which also gave local boy done good Jeff Lynne his start in music) - although Steve was by then a veteran of local acts The Dominettes, The Uglys and Balls - and played the pub & club circuit until being signed by The Who's management in 1975. They recorded their first album - Any Road Up - the same year, releasing it in 1976 and set off on a tour supporting The Who.

In subsequent years the band had a number of chart hits - such as the classics Johnny Cool, Tulane and Eddie Vortex - and, although there have been numerous line-up changes, Steve and the band has continued to gig and if you haven't caught them live, we highly recommend you do so!

We're expecting very high-demand for this show and so we'd recommending booking early.

Ticketing Information:

Tickets are for ‘general admission’ giving you access to any available seating or standing areas. There is no assigned seating, any seating that is available can be taken on a first come first served basis.

Last entry to Joe Joe Jims is at 10.30pm.


Accessibility:

Access to Joe Joe Jims via the front doors is on the level with the frontage and footpath without the need to negotiate any steps or changes in surface height.

Within the venue we have a raised disabled guest area accessible via ramp and should you need to use this facility, please notify us in advance on 0121 453 3103 and make yourself known to our staff upon your arrival so that we can provide any assistance you may require.
